TRANSPORTATION AND WAREHOUSING
As a group company of Mirap A.Ş., our firm, Saylam International Transport Ltd. Şti., was established in 1980 to operate in international and domestic transportation.
- Until 1995, it primarily carried out international transportation activities, particularly organizing transportation processes from European countries to Middle Eastern countries.
- In 1995, the general distribution tender of Bandırma Bagfaş Fertilizer Factories was awarded. From 1995 to 2022, the domestic distribution, transportation planning, and supply activities of 650,000 tons/year of bagged chemical fertilizer were conducted.
- In 1998, our company underwent a change in type and title, taking the name “Mirap International Transport Tourism Automotive Trade Inc.”
- From 1990 to 2005, it also managed the loading, transportation, and logistics services of iron and bagged fertilizers for the TCDD Railways General Directorate in Turkey. It successfully completed the mineral transportation for Karadeniz Copper Enterprises, coal loading and transportation for Turkey Coal Enterprises, and the bagged chemical fertilizer transportation for Agricultural Credit Cooperatives, İGSAŞ, GÜBRETAŞ, TÜGSAŞ, and Agricultural Equipment Institutions.
- In 2005, the tender for the annual distribution of 300,000 tons of chemical fertilizer from Ege Fertilizer factories in Aliağa was awarded. The related distribution activities were carried out under our responsibility from 2005 to 2022.
- In 2006, the tender for the transportation of 500,000 tons of ore from Eti Mine Enterprises' Bandırma Boron factory to the ports of Izmir and Istanbul was awarded.
- In 2005, our company obtained the R1 certificate, granted to companies for organizing domestic transportation works as per the Road Transport Regulation implemented by the Ministry of Transport of Turkey.
- In 2007, the tender for the transportation of 1,350,000 tons of ore from Eti Mine Enterprises' Kütahya/Değirmenözü and Eskişehir/Kırka Boron Enterprise Directorates to the ports of Istanbul and Izmir was awarded.
Our horizontal warehouses, with a total area of 6,400 m², consist of seven independent sections divided into two 570 m², two 710 m², and three 1,280 m² areas. The total horizontal and vertical capacity is 110,000 tons. Our horizontal warehouses, with a truss height of 12 meters, allow for an unmatched stacking height of 8 meters in the region, thanks to their reinforced concrete walls.
To ensure that your products are not damaged in the slightest, maximum precautions have been taken, and the roof is built as a double-layer Assan sandwich insulated panel covered with trapezoidal sheet. Our silo system, with a capacity of 70,000 tons and equipped with the latest technology, allows for continuous temperature monitoring with 12 thermocouples per silo, ensuring that your products are constantly monitored and recorded.
